Profile

Well let’s see, folks. I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. I started djing in 2001 at age 14. Growing up, I was an avid fan of the Hip Hop Culture. I have always had a love for music, and arts, often participating in performing activities. By 2000, I started to express a strong interest in becomming a DJ. I met DJ Flex in August 2001 and he would take me to his events and pretty much show me the ropes. Flex spent a good amount of time training me on how to blend and mix songs. By 2003 I started to branch off and play at my own gigs.

In 2004 I landed an internship with the local radio station Q95.5(now Hot 104.1), which eventually lead to bigger events and making me one of the premier teen djs of St. Louis, along with a few others, as the city had a huge market for teen parties and high school events. Also during this time, I did mix shows 89.5 The Wave, with another mentor of mine, D.J. Code Zero.

In 2005, I enlisted into the United States Air Force, leaving for Basic Training in November of that year, seemingly putting my dj career behind me. I received orders to Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, VA, arriving in April 2006. After a while of not djing, I knew that I had to get back into my best skill. By December 2006, I re-entered the DJ world, in my new home. All from scratch.

After months of djing and building my client base, I established my company in June 2007 named Twisted Entertainment. Building my skills, equipment, and client base, I quickly established my name througout the Hampton Roads area.

Until 2008, I primarily specialized in Hip Hop. I started to expand and practice many different generes and styles of music and mixing. Throughout 2009 I began building on mixing House, Techno, and Electro music which made me a more well-rounded DJ.

In 2010, I ended my military service and I decided to locate to NASHVILLE, TN A.K.A. “Music City”. I figured, what better place to move than a place nicknamed Music City?
